Diamond Hand Legends is the flagship product of Blue Horizon Game Studios. We believe that NFTs are particularly well suited for the digital Collectible Card Game genera. The goal of the project is to produce a high-quality fun game that feels familiar to people who already play digital CCGs while bringing enough modern and creative changes to keep everything fresh. We aim to create a product that can bring the “magical” feeling that we all had as kids when collecting, trading, selling, and building decks from physical cards and NFT technology is by far the best way to do that.
Digital CCGs up to this point have almost universally disallowed the trading aspect of the genera that’s a staple part of physical collectible card games. The only way to earn the cards for these games has been to either buy card packs or to earn in-game currencies through regular play in a variety of ways. There has typically been no way for players to bargain, trade, or sell their cards to one another. This aspect of CCGs used to be about half of the fun and it inherently encourages players to form social bonds and group up with people that have similar interests.
We have no doubt that communities will form without our help due to the way we are designing the game, however, we fully intend to build the project in a way that supports and encourages community building such that trading cards, making friends, and playing the game with friends to test new ideas, is a fruitful, engaging, and a fun way to play.
